Mamatoto Midwives offer the following care;

* Pre Conception care and counselling

* Antenatal education (Medicare rebates available)

* Antenatal Calmbirth® Classes

* Antenatal care by a known midwife, including ordering pathology tests and Ultrasounds as needed (Medicare rebates available)

* Homebirth

* Known midwife to care for you during labour and birth at a public hospital of your choice* (Medicare rebates available)

* Water birth**

* Antenatal care and education and birth care for women wanting Vaginal Birth after Caesarean (VBAC), including education and support (Medicare rebates available)

* Care for women experiencing higher risk pregnancies*** (Medicare rebates available)

* Counselling

* Acupressure during pregnancy and childbirth

* Sterile water injections for pain relief during labour

* Postnatal care in your home

* Breastfeeding support and advice

* Comprehensive 6 week postnatal check

   

We also refer women to the following service providers should they be requested or required;

* Lactation Consultants

* Naturopath

* Osteopath; paediatric and adult

* Obstetrician

* Physiotherapist

* Psychiatrist

* Mamatoto Midwives have applied for clinical privilege at Royal Women’s Hospital, Mercy Hospital for Women, Angliss Hospital and Box Hill Hospital

** Waterbirth is an available choice at Home, Box Hill Hospital and Angliss Hospital
